Volunteers of the Summer 2010
The Sliwin family - Owners and Operators of Athletic Knit, gracious supporters of multiple Jewish causes in Toronto made an incredible charitable contribution to the at-risk youth of Bat Yam in August 2010. Over 900 hockey Jersey's for Bat Yam's new initiative in partnership with the Canada Centre hockey arena in Metula will be used to support this amazing recreational initiative that fosters leadership, confidence and instills purpose in the lives of children living in this vulnerable community. Kol Ha'Kavod and Thank you the Sliwin family and Athletic Knit!

Toronto YP1 - Canada Israel Experience - Taglit Birthright-Israel group visited Bat Yam to design and assemble care-packages with at-risk children living in Bat Yam. Kol Ha'kavod D'Poos!

Evan Silver & Kevin Treger, event co-chairs of the 'Israel on Campus' annual fundraiser - Hoops 4 Israel UWO Edition. With over 90 people in attendence and $2400+ in net proceeds, these two worked tirelessly in making this H4I event a success in London, Ontario. Kol Ha'kavod Gentlemen on a job well done;)
H4I Volunteer of the Month (Feb)
Elissa Grossman (21), has announced the activation of a fundraising project that will work in conjunction with Hoops 4 Israel called > JAM 4 ISRAEL. This event will be the post-party event where all proceeds will go towards vulnerable Ethiopian Israeli youth living in Bat Yam. The event will take place on Sunday, June 10th, @ London Tap House (Toronto).
H4I Volunteer Group of the Month (Jan)
YP4: 42 Canadians from Taglit-Birthright Israel and Canada Israel Experience spent the afternoon in Bat Yam socializing with at-risk youth while doing volunteer service - packing gift boxes for IDF soldiers, painting murals at their Akiva school, and teaching basketball skills. It was a slice of life!
H4I Volunteer of the Month (Jan)
Ahsher Zeldin (13), solicited sports-based companies across the GTA to have them donate their goods to at-risk youth in Bat Yam. All goods are being personally delivered by a Birthright Israel group during a volunteer project on January 23rd, 2010.
